HEAT EXCHANGERS, MIXERS, and DEWATERING EQUIPMENT
Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers

Doyle & Roth has complete "in-house" capability for fabrication of tubular heat transfer equipment. At Doyle & Roth, we've established our reputation on engineering excellence ..rigid quality control techniques...on total commitment to customer service. Performance quality, designed by a highly competent engineering staff is supported by the most modern equipment available.
Direct Steam Injection Heaters

Pick direct steam injection systems heat any water-miscible liquid of aqueous slurry instantly on a continuous straight-through basis. In addition, we hold the outflow temperatures to extremely close tolerances, regardless of fluctuations in steam or water pressures and outflow demand. The steam is injected into the liquid through hundreds of small orifices for instant and uniform blending and heat transfer. A unique spring-loaded piston maintains steam pressure in excess of water pressure to eliminate steam-water hammer.
Mixers

The Readco Kurimoto Continuous Processor is a twin shaft, co-rotating mixer designed to mix one or more dry materials with one or more liquid materials on a continuous basis, producing a homogeneous product at the discharge end of the unit. The Readco Continuous Processor is used in processes involving MIXING, COMPOUNDING, KNEADING, SHEARING, ENCAPSULATING, and CRYSTALLIZING. The Readco Continuous Processor has CONSISTENT and UNIFORM performance, even when handling materials of many million centipoise viscosities.

Our proven design provides a superior uniform mix, complemented by a robust construction. Over 16 standard models are available from 7 to 476 cu.ft. Custom models available up to 1,500 cu.ft.
Mixing is accomplished using either a ribbon or paddle agitator. The S. Howes Double-Ribbon Agitator, with the original reverse-spiral design, delivers uniform, high-capacity blending at low power cost. The mix is held in constant suspension providing for excellent uniform mix of the product. Paddle assemblies mix using a tumbling motion and have less product shearing during the process.
Dewatering
J-Press© Filter Presses
Our filter presses are comprised of robust steel frames that hold and clamp a specially designed filter plate pack. Solid/liquid separation occurs by pumping the feed slurry through a series of chambers in the filter plate pack. The slurry deposits solid particles on the surface of the filter cloth; the filtrate passes through this particle build-up and is channeled through the discharge surface of the filter plates. As the particle deposit builds, so does the pumping pressure, and the chamber becomes completely filled with solids. The filter press is ready for opening and plate shifting to discharge the dry filter cake.
The marriage of JWI and Perrin Filter Press divisions provides the Siemens Dewatering Systems Group the widest range of applications and experiences in the industry. Centrifuges, Belt Presses, and Screw Presses are also manufactured.
